A Labour councillor in Brent has been suspended by his local party after being charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident and attempted wounding with intent.
Cllr Zaffar Van Kalwala pleaded innocent at Hendon Magistrates Court and was granted unconditional bail.
