Former Lib Dem Mayor of Milton Keynes implicated in fake visa scam
The former Lib Dem Mayor of Milton Keynes who was forced to resign from his post after personally vouching for known sex offenders to help them get taxi licences has been implicated in a visa scam.
Cllr Subhan Shafiq allegedly arranges fake English language certificates for visa applicants for £500 according to the Milton Keynes Citizen. The newspaper has passed on details from their undercover investigation to the police.
